Any helmet. Any aircraft. Every sortie. Installation takes less than 60 seconds for most users and is backwards compatible with all flight helmets and peripheral equipment. Biosensors are transparent to the user and SPYDR's smart sensing technology means ZERO added workload for aircrews.
Real-time audio warning system using state-of-the-art bone conduction technology. Compatible with all helmet audio systems including PACE and ACCESS. Zero integration with aircraft audio required.
CLOUD BASED DATA ANALYTICS
SPYDR data is downloaded after each sortie, data masked for pilot confidentiality protection, and aggregated for top-down analysis at user defined access levels.
Zero aircraft integration required. SPYDR is truly stand alone- does not require aircraft power or data access. Built in battery has triple-redundant safety features and is certified "safe to fly." Battery life is good for 10+ hours in flight and over 3 days on the shelf.
In most cases SPYDR adds ZERO weight to the helmet. Using lightweight, impact resistant materials and miniaturized electronics weighing in at just 70 grams, SPYDR can be incorporated to any helmet with no perceived change in weight and balance. Removing the battery and using off-board power actually reduces weight for critical applications like JSF.
SPYDR has been tested by USAF in the centrifuge, altitude chamber, and ROBD and has flown over 100 sorties in F-16, T-6 and T-38 aircraft. USAF/LCMC has conducted a thorough engineering review and issued a "Safe to Fly" clearance for all USAF aircraft.
WHAT WE DO
REAL TIME HYPOXIA WARNING
Human factors have long been the single greatest source of preventable aviation mishaps. Until now, the only indication of hypoxic incapacitation has been training pilots to recognize their symptoms; a task made difficult when engaged in combat. With SPYDR, you can focus on the mission, and don’t need to second guess your personal go, no-go decisions.
SPYDR uses revolutionary, non-invasive, low-power sensor technology to detect, monitor and record multiple physiological and performance characteristics. Integrated signal processing and state-of-the art audio transduction adds real-time warning of impending emergencies, allowing aircrew to take corrective action before they are impaired.
ENHANCED RISK MITIGATION
Classical operational risk mitigation techniques rely on self-identification of physiological threats due to stress and fatigue. SPYDR is able to track and correlate physiological risk factors to help commanders make smarter risk-management decisions.
